George Best was more than a footballer; he was a pioneer who bridged the worlds of sport and style. At a time when players were defined purely by their performances on the pitch, Best made fashion part of his identity, opening a series of boutiques in Manchester that became iconic destinations for fans across the city.

To mark the 20th anniversary of George Best’s passing, the George Best Legacy Company are thrilled to have partnered with internationally acclaimed Mancunian illustrator Stanley Chow.

This collaboration celebrates the life and legacy of the football icon. The artwork serves not only as a portrait but also as a tribute to Best’s cultural significance. Chow’s distinctive style captures Best as the game’s first global superstar and a defining figure of the late 1960s, reflecting his enduring charisma, influence, and individuality both on and off the pitch.

The exclusive print will be available for pre-order from 17 October, ahead of its official launch on 25 November.
